Meet Jason

Husband since 2009. Father. Aircraft mechanic. Fairfield Township resident.

I’ve spent years working on large GE engines. Earlier in my career I took them apart in the shop, inspected and replaced parts, put them back together, and led teams on the road through everything from quick component changes to full engine swaps. That experience took me around the world and taught me how to work with different people and get the job done right. Today I work as a Development Assembly Mechanic, partnering with engineers to improve current engines and help build new ones.

I never planned on running for office. What changed me was watching government overreach during COVID and seeing how much influence big corporations and money have over the people who make the rules. Then I went to the Fairfield City Schools “Road Ahead” meetings. Listening to them ask for more tax money while the state funding system for public schools is clearly broken pushed me over the edge. My son is in those schools. That made it personal.

I’m not a politician and I don’t want to become one. I aspire to be your statesman: someone who shows up, listens, and fights for the people who actually live here and pay the bills. I stand by Libertarian principles of individual liberty, lower taxes, and limited government. I will always put the people of District 47 first. I’m running for Ohio House District 47 because both major parties have let taxes rise, regulations pile up, and personal freedom shrink.

I live in this district. I work with my hands. I’ve sat in those school meetings as a parent and taxpayer. I serve on our local Board of Zoning Appeals and the Libertarian Party of Ohio State Central Committee. I know what it feels like when Columbus treats regular people like we need more rules instead of more freedom.

I’m asking for your vote so we can start changing that.
